WALNUT HILLS NAMES ARIANNA CHAITKIN (’18) AS HEAD GIRLS LACROSSE COACH

Walnut Hills High School is excited to announce the hiring of Arianna Chaitkin (Class of 2018) as the new Head Girls Lacrosse Coach. Coach Chaitkin returns to Walnut Hills as a proud alum and former student-athlete, having played girls lacrosse for all four years during her time as an Eagle. As an athlete, she received Enquirer/All City Honors in both 2017 & 2018. Her familiarity with the program, the school community, and the standards of excellence at Walnut Hills positions her well to lead the next chapter of the girls lacrosse program. As a former Walnut Hills student-athlete, Coach Chaitkin brings a strong connection to the culture, traditions, and expectations of the athletic department. Her return reflects a continued investment in the growth, stability, and long-term success of Walnut Hills Girls Lacrosse, as well as a commitment to building meaningful relationships with student-athletes. Chaitkin replaces Coach Katherine Bowers, who stepped down this spring after six seasons leading the program. Under Bowers’ leadership, the Eagles experienced a period of sustained success, including an ECC Runner-Up finish in 2023, back-to-back ECC Championships in 2023 and 2024, and an OHSAA Regional Finals appearance in 2024. Walnut Hills Athletics would like to thank Coach Bowers for her dedication and leadership, and looks forward to welcoming Coach Chaitkin as she leads the program into the future.
