EAGLES VS. WARRIORS REMATCH TO SUPPORT CINCY SHOOTS FOR A CURE
Next month’s highly anticipated Eagles vs. Warriors rematch won’t just be a must-see basketball game — it will also support a meaningful cause as Walnut Hills partners with Cincy Shoots for a Cure, a new community-driven nonprofit.
Cincy Shoots for a Cure is a nonprofit organization founded in 2025 by John Blackwell with a mission to use high school and youth basketball in the Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Indiana tri-state area to raise awareness, excitement, and funds for cancer support and research initiatives.
The initiative harnesses the energy and community spirit of the basketball season by designating varsity games — like the upcoming Eagles vs. Warriors matchup — as official Cincy Shoots for a Cure nights. Participating schools and fans come together in support of the cause through donation drives, special events, and game day shirts that showcase both teams while raising funds for the fight against cancer.
Support Opportunities:
Game Day Shirts: Fans can purchase shirts through the link in bio — with proceeds benefiting Cincy Shoots for a Cure and its mission.
Donate: Contributions can be made directly on the organization’s website to support cancer-related efforts throughout the season.
The collaboration brings together basketball fans, families, and communities around a shared goal: Love Hoops. Fight Cancer. It’s a night of competitive spirit with a bigger purpose — making an impact both on and off the court.
